Making Sense of Numbers That Matter

We started ynaraexora because business owners kept telling us the same thing—they had plenty of data but no real understanding of what it meant for their future.

How We Got Here

Back in 2018, I was working with a manufacturing client who had spreadsheets coming out of their ears. Sales reports, inventory counts, cash flow statements—the works. But when I asked what their most profitable product line was, they couldn't tell me. Not because the data wasn't there. Because nobody had time to make sense of it.

That's when something clicked. Businesses weren't drowning in too little information—they were drowning in too much of it, presented in ways that didn't help them make actual decisions.

We built ynaraexora around a simple idea: analysis should clarify, not complicate. Your business tells a story through its numbers. Our job is to help you read it.

Seven years later, we've worked with everyone from family-owned retail shops to mid-sized logistics companies. What they all have in common is this: they're good at what they do, but they need someone to connect the dots between operations and outcomes.

What Guides Our Work

These aren't corporate slogans we put on a wall. They're the principles that shape how we approach every client relationship and every piece of analysis we deliver.

Clarity Over Complexity

Anyone can make data look impressive with fancy dashboards and technical jargon. We do the opposite—strip away everything that doesn't help you understand what's actually happening in your business.

Context Matters

A number by itself is just a number. What matters is what it means for your specific situation—your industry, your goals, your constraints. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all analysis because we've never seen a one-size-fits-all business.

Honest Assessment

Sometimes the data shows uncomfortable truths. We're not here to tell you what you want to hear—we're here to tell you what you need to know. That includes when things are working well and when they're not.

How We Actually Work

Most of our clients come to us with a question they can't quite answer themselves. Sometimes it's "why are margins shrinking?" Sometimes it's "should we expand into this new market?" Other times it's just "something feels off, but I can't pinpoint what."

We don't have a rigid process we force everyone through. But there are patterns to how we approach things.

1

We Start With Listening

Before we look at a single spreadsheet, we want to understand your business. How you operate, what keeps you up at night, where you see opportunities. The numbers only make sense once we understand the story behind them.

2

We Look For Patterns

Your data contains signals and noise. We're pretty good at separating the two. What looks like random variation might actually be a seasonal trend. What looks like steady growth might be masking underlying issues.

3

We Translate Findings

Technical accuracy matters, but it's useless if you can't act on it. We present our analysis in terms of actual business decisions—what to stop doing, what to double down on, what to watch carefully over the next quarter.

The Person Behind the Analysis

ynaraexora isn't a massive team. It's deliberately small. That means when you work with us, you're working directly with the people doing the analysis, not getting passed down to junior staff.

Principal Analyst

Spent fifteen years working in corporate finance before realizing I was more interested in helping businesses understand their numbers than climbing the ladder. Started ynaraexora in 2018 with the goal of making financial analysis actually useful for mid-sized companies.

These days I split my time between direct client work and teaching occasional workshops on financial literacy for business owners. Outside of work, you'll find me either hiking somewhere in the Blue Mountains or trying to perfect sourdough bread.

The best part of this work is watching a client have that moment when everything clicks—when the patterns suddenly make sense and they know exactly what their next move should be.
